"Blossom Sprinkles"

Blossom Sprinkles allows the hobby miniaturist to create beautiful hanging baskets, window boxes, garden tubs, blossom tree’s and much more besides! They work best in a two part system and there are plenty of colours to choose from &  the best thing about them is that you need not waste a sprinkle!!

Each sachet goes a long way, so you don’t need much at all, maybe you might want to share colours with a friend? They have proved very popular with dolls house clubs who tend to share their various colours, although it is advisable to keep the basic green shades for your own use.

How to use Blossom Sprinkles:

It’s really simple! Firstly you take some “Tacky glue” and spread it on the area where you want your Greenery (you need to be rather generous with the glue at this stage) hold the item over an old saucer or plate depending on the size of the item you are using, then sprinkle on the first colour, which should be a shade of green really, but that’s entirely up to you!  Allow the glue to dry, and then shake off the excess Sprinkles, you can now bag up the excess for future use on another project of your choice (it’s a bit like sprinkling glitter on a Xmas cards!)

Now dab a little “tacky glue” on the side of an old saucer, take a toothpick and dot tiny dabs of glue here and there on your chosen shade green (where you want your blossoms to go) Next with your second colour, lets say Pink,  take a small pinch between your fingers and sprinkle them over the tiny dabs of glue, and hey presto! You have your Blossoms!

Shake off the excess once more, you may find that you now have bits of green in with your pink, but that’s ok too! just don’t go putting them back in the Pink sachet!

After you accumulate a little more of this pink and green mixture you can also use it for other projects too as it looks real pretty mixed, in fact it looks great with other colours mixed in with it as long as the vast majority of the colour is a green.

One of the nicest things about Blossom Sprinkles is you can mix the sprinkles together to give a two or even three toned “mottled” effect of your choice. Its great for making small flowers too!  just dab your desired lengths of florists wire in some "tacky glue" then dip it into your blossom sprinkles & you can make a variety of flowers. You can also use it to make vegetation growing up the side of  houses, you are only limited by your imagination really!
